Set and align the machine correctly
The crystallizer frame and drive must be level and aligned before final grouting or piping. Distortion from uneven supports can affect bearings, seals and rotating components.
Verify cooling-water direction and flow
Connect supply and return according to the approved drawing. Confirm that the available flow and temperature match the design basis, then vent trapped air before process operation.
Protect the crystal transfer path
Outlet piping should avoid dead legs and sharp restrictions where crystals can accumulate. Provide flushing connections and safe access for inspection and cleaning.
Commission as part of the complete line
Crystal quality depends on feed concentration, cooling profile, residence time and downstream separation. The crystallizer cannot be tuned independently from the dissolution and centrifuge stages.
